Welcome to Chelsea Storage. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services. By accessing or using our storage facilities, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By renting a storage unit from Chelsea Storage, you accept and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Eligibility
Customers must be at least 18 years old to enter into a binding contract with Chelsea Storage. You must provide valid identification and contact information during the registration process.
3. Rental Agreement
Upon selecting a storage unit, you will enter into a rental agreement which outlines the terms of your storage unit rental. This agreement is legally binding and covers aspects such as rental duration, payment terms, and access hours.
3.1 Rental Duration
- Monthly rentals are available with automatic renewal unless canceled.
- Long-term contracts may be negotiated based on customer requirements.
3.2 Payment Terms
- Payment is due on the first day of each rental period.
- Late payments may incur additional fees.
- Accepted payment methods include credit cards, bank transfers, and online payments.
4. Use of Storage Units
You agree to use the storage unit solely for the purpose of storing your personal or business property. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
- Hazardous materials
- Perishable goods
- Illegal substances
- Explosive materials
Storage units must be kept clean and free from pests. You are responsible for ensuring that your items do not cause damage or safety hazards.
5. Access to Storage Units
Chelsea Storage provides access to your storage unit during specified hours. Unauthorized access outside these hours is prohibited.
Access Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 6 AM - 10 PM
- Saturday: 8 AM - 8 PM
- Sunday: 10 AM - 6 PM
After-hours access may be available upon request and may incur additional fees.
Important: You are responsible for securing your storage unit during and after access.
6. Insurance
Chelsea Storage offers insurance options for your stored items. It is recommended to insure your belongings against loss, theft, and damage.
Insurance coverage is subject to terms and conditions set forth by our insurance providers. Please consult with them to understand the extent of coverage.
7. Liability
Chelsea Storage is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of your stored items unless caused by our negligence. Customers are advised to secure their belongings and utilize available insurance options.
We are not responsible for:
- Damage due to natural disasters
- Wear and tear of stored items
- Unauthorized access by third parties
8. Termination of Agreement
Either party may terminate the rental agreement by providing written notice within the stipulated period. Upon termination, you must remove all items from the storage unit.
If a storage unit is vacated without proper notice, Chelsea Storage reserves the right to sell or dispose of the remaining items after providing adequate notice.
9. Rules and Regulations
All customers must adhere to the rules and regulations of Chelsea Storage to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Key rules include:
- No open flames or hazardous materials.
- Respect noise levels to avoid disturbing neighbors.
- Report any suspicious activities to the management.
- Follow proper procedures for moving items in and out of storage units.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in termination of your rental agreement.
10. Modifications to Terms
Chelsea Storage reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes via email or through our official communication channels.
Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Chelsea Storage operates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
12. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
13. Entire Agreement
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Chelsea Storage regarding the use of our services, superseding all prior agreements and understandings.
14. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy document to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Chelsea Storage harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of our storage services, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights of another.
16. Force Majeure
Chelsea Storage shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, wars, or government regulations.
17. Notices
All notices related to these terms should be sent to the address provided in your rental agreement. Notices are considered delivered upon receipt.
18. Amendments
Any amendments to these terms must be in writing and signed by both parties. Verbal agreements are not recognized.
19. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rental agreement without the prior written consent of Chelsea Storage. We reserve the right to assign the agreement as necessary.
